	First CD-R Manufacturer to Offer Recycling of CD Recordable Media

Purchase, NY – February 3 – Mitsui Chemicals, Inc.(MTC-A) and its subsidiary, Mitsui Advanced Media, Inc.(MAM) are pleased to announce effective immediately, a recycling program for CD Recordable media. MTC America, Inc. is the manufacturer of the high quality CD Recordable discs, under the brand name of "MITSUI GOLD." "The MITSUI GOLD product is setting the standards in our industry for durability, longevity and high performance" states Mike Warman, National Sales/Marketing Manager, for MTC America, Inc. Both MTC and MAM feel an obligation to help preserve our natural resources and protect the environment. By offering to help in the recycling of used media, we feel that we shall help to preserve and possibly improve the circumstances that we all live under. It is for that reason, that we are instituting this recycling campaign. We would hope that all our valued customers participate in this venture.

Since we opened our plant in Colorado Springs, CO, all packaging materials, such as 10 pack and 100 pack master cartons are made of materials that are easily recycled. As a major chemical company, MTC knows that it has an obligation to do whatever it can to help to preserve and better the environment. This is a mandate that has been passed down to all its divisions, including MTC America, Inc. and Mitsui Advanced Media, Inc.
