DVD Sides and Layers
Single-Side,
Single Layer Disc is the most basic Configuration for DVD. It had a
maximum storage capacity of 4.7GB. This 4.7GB is 7 times the capacity
of CD.
Single-Sided, Single Layer Disc (4.7GB)
Double-Side, Single Layer provides a total of 9,4 GB. Half of
the data is on the second side. It requires flipping the disc.
