The 3D Print Place Opens in Colorado Springs
The 3D Print Place location off Garden of the Gods Rd. is offering 3D printing services, 3D printer sales and accessories.
Colorado Springs, Colo., October 2015– The 3D Print Place has now opened a location in Colorado Springs. The 3D Print Place is the first of its kind to offer innovative 3D printing technology to consumers and professionals alike. They are offering 3D printing services in a variety of materials depending on the needs of the customer, scanning services, technical training seminars, part design assistance as well as filament and accessory sales. The new location also offers the Afinia 3D printer for sale, which, according to store manager Joe Weisenbach, “Offers a true ‘out–of-the-box’ printing experience. The Afinia provides very high quality printing that can easily be achieved by even a novice”.
The 3D Print Place in Colorado Springs is a collaboration with MAM-A Inc., which has been a manufacturer of archival grade recordable optical discs in the city since 1996. MAM-A (originally Mitsui Advanced Media Inc.) will continue to service its optical disc customers and is now looking to diversify its product offerings into the 3D printing industry by catering to manufacturers, engineers, educators and hobbyists in southern Colorado.
